Has anyone successfully set up a Exchange 2010 info store backup or a MLR backup in V10?
I'm running Exchange 2010 in a lab environment on Server 2008 and can't get it to work at all. Getting various errors, such as "The requested ESE RPC service is not started" and "Error returned from a callback function call (Ox8004010F)". Using a FQDN I can see my info store and add the instance, choose to Pipe it out, but then it fails with:
"Unable to perform the operation. Either you cannot connect to the specified server
or the service you are trying to connect to is not running."
and
"Backup stopped: Failed to connect to backup set source. ".
Anyways, I see that the support matrix says 2008 R2 is required but I'm wondering if anyone has got this to work in any fashion. Thanks!
