Local Restore Option on V9.0

I have a backup set for a 2003 Exchange store. The job was setup using the local storage option and the initial seed was performed using a portable drive. I am now attempting to perform a restore and to my surprise the restore is running over the network and not utilizing the local storage copy. Can someone explain what is going on here?

Hi,

Guess this one ended up in the wrong section.

Anyhow, normally you only keep the latest generation of the file local (there ain't any master/delta processing on the local storage). If the generation exist on the local storage it should be marked with an "L" in front of it (in the dialog were you select what generation you want to restore)
