FTP Backup

Has anyone found an effective way of backing up data accessible over FTP using Asigra 8.0? I've got a client with a remotely hosted website who's data can only be accessed over FTP. I can use Novell Netdrive to add the server as a drive letter on the DS-Client system, but the drive letter doesn't appear in the list when I try to set up a new job.

The software doesn't recognize many 'removable' devices. (try backing up a thumb drive sometime... just for fun.)

This is goofy, but perhaps a pre/post setup to copy the data from the mapped drive to a local storage point, then backup the local storage, then scrub the local copy.

Same advice, you need a script to copy the data locally and then you can back it up from there.
